WILLIAM JARA

Consultant

William Jara is a consultant for Ceisler Media, creating newsletters, social media content, videos and other digital media for our clients.

Will recently produced a grant application video for a social service agency. He interviewed clients of the agency on video, edited the interviews and crafted an attractive, persuasive proposal. He also filmed and edited an absorbing Facebook post for one client by combining short testimonials from patients who had been helped by their treatment centers.

He also creates newsletters for clients – shooting photographs, laying out pages and fashioning attractive graphics.

William came to Ceisler Media in December 2017 from JetBlue Airways where he was a Branding Specialist. In that role he managed JetBlue’s brand presence at the Philadelphia International Airport and made sure that it was in line with their branding standards. He also did special projects where he designed in-flight seat back menus, advertisements and other graphics related material.

Prior to that, he worked at the New York City corporate office of Dylan’s Candy Bar; the boutique candy chain founded by Dylan Lauren; daughter of designer Ralph Lauren. He started as an intern and worked his way up to the corporate office. While there he photographed & retouched images, designed company signage, advertisements, merchandise displays, packaging for products and worked with the Art Director & other outside vendors for cross branding partnerships.

Will was born and raised in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York. He studied architecture at the High School of Art & Design and Graphic/ Advertising Design at the NYC College of Technology (CUNY) in Brooklyn, NY.

One of Will's favorite things to do is to workout; which is why you would find him at the gym every morning.

William currently lives in New York with his fiance Gabriel. They are parents to rescue dog, Annie and 24-year-old tortoise, Bobby.

Along with being a designer, Will also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, personal trainer and even volunteered at the Animal Care and Control Center of NYC as an Animal Care Technician.

While working at JetBlue he organized a drive to aid a Dominican Republic orphanage, the Casa de Luz, which helps children with disabilities who are abandoned by their families. Along with his co-workers, they collected clothes, diapers, toys and food in the United States and personally delivered them to the children in Santo Domingo.

William is an avid traveler, and visited 26 different countries, with his favorite destinations being Rio de Janeiro, Croatia, Cartagena, Puerto Vallarta and Barcelona.
