We may currently be distant at Ceisler Media, but our team members got together (sort of) to create this video. Click below to see all of us at home, at play, with kids and pets – and still working for our clients.
Message from Ceisler Media
One of the oddities about this year’s economic turndown is that most people I know are working harder than ever. Folks everywhere are adapting, pivoting, looking for creative ways to make things work – even as the economy is in flux.
It’s the same here at Ceisler Media. We’re busier than ever working to serve our partners’ changing needs. For many clients the challenges are unprecedented, and I'm proud of our team’s creativity under unique circumstances.
At the same time, everyone needs a break from work. We want our people to remain fresh, so we emphasized the importance of time off in August. A lot of Ceisler employees had more grandiose vacations scheduled before the pandemic hit, but even walking away from your computer for a week can prove to be restorative.
Unforeseen events require everyone to think differently these days, and our firm is doing the same – evaluating our strengths and weaknesses, while considering how we can be the most efficient, solid and productive for the people we serve.
The world is adapting – and so are we.
The video above is a collaboration of all of Ceisler Media’s team members across the state. You’ll see the best of our staff – at home, at work, with kids and with pets.
The video was put together by members of our Digital and Creative Services team – Director Krystal Bonner, Graphic Designer Julia Wolf and Multimedia Designer Will Jara. I love that it shows how Ceisler Media is about the people who work for it.
In this newsletter you’ll also find interesting articles, including my take on current political happenings and Special Projects Manager Larry Miller’s Musings on enduring racism in Philadelphia.
We’re re-running three of our most popular recent newsletter items. Senior Associate Michael Rodriguez has a smart piece about the joys – and challenges – of working from home with children around. Associate Shannon McLaughlin writes about starting a new job, but not being able to go to the office or meet her co-workers. And Senior Associate Courtney Accurti explains how we’ve successfully built up our media monitoring services to keep clients informed.
There’s a heartwarming story from Associate David Huppert, who met and learned lessons from Rep. John Lewis, the great civil rights leader. And Joey Georgy explains how filling an internship during a pandemic was not what he expected, but was nonetheless rewarding.
We’ve got interesting news about our clients and updates on our own team – including a wedding. Please give it a read and let me know your thoughts.
Congratulations to Digital Projects Manager Melissa Sherman Kozlowski, who married longtime beau Sean Kozlowski at the end of July. While the small, intimate ceremony was not what they were planning, the day was perfect. Family and friends joined via Zoom to celebrate the couple's joy.
Senior Consultant Glen Macnow and wife Judy welcomed their third grandson - and the first for son Alex Macnow and his husband, Nathan Renner-Johnson. Little Gregory Macnow officially joined the family in July and already enjoys watching the Phillies with his Pops.
