Mary Gebbia

Administrative Manager

Mary Gebbia handles diverse responsibilities at Ceisler Media & Issue Advocacy. She helps coordinate scheduling, assembles timesheets and expense reports and assists Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration, Cynthia McCurdy on myriad tasks to keep the business running smoothly.

Mary also supports Ceisler associates in client research. She serves as a logistics coordinator in travel arrangements, lobbying reports, IT support and subscriptions and ordering.

Prior to joining Ceisler in 2018, Mary worked as a therapeutic support staffer for Merakey, a developmental and behavioral health non-profit organization. She was a receptionist at a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Annapolis, MD. She has 10 years of experience working in hospitality and restaurants nationally and internationally.

Mary graduated cum laude from East Carolina University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in business administration. She is a member of Psi Chi International Honors Society and served as its historian her senior year. During her studies, Mary volunteered answering a suicide hotline.

Mary is originally from the suburbs of New Orleans, but has lived in five different states. She enjoys learning about different cultures and experiencing them first hand. She moved to Philadelphia in 2018 and is currently living in the Queen Village Neighborhood of South Philadelphia.

Mary traveled all her life, visiting diverse countries. After graduating university, she embarked on a 15-month solo working trip that took her to Australia, Southeast Asia and parts of Europe.  

Mary has taken up indoor rock climbing at a gym in Philadelphia. She looks forward to the challenge of trying outdoor climbing locations in the tristate area and beyond.

Mary incorporates vinyasa yoga, hatha yoga and meditation into her everyday life. She enjoys being in nature in any way possible; hiking, camping and music festivals.

She is a diehard Saints fan, but has adopted the Eagles as her next-best team.
