As a talented young writer, Elise Corbett supports Ceisler Media’s teams by drafting pitches, press releases, newsletters and progress reports – as well as copy editing the words of her co-workers.
Elise works closely with Ceisler directors on several accounts, including American Airlines – official carrier of the Super Bowl LII Champion Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia’s hometown carrier. As the Eagles made their run to the title in 2018, Elise helped coordinate American’s “Fly Eagles Fly” rally towel campaign, engaging public officials and using the rally towels as positive marketing for the airline. The effort generated earned media hits every day for a full week.
Elise joined Ceisler in 2017, after graduating from La Salle University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and a minor in Leadership and Global Understanding. She was an executive member of the department’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) Star Chapter, serving as president during her senior year. She also received the Communications Department’s Gregg Argenziano Writing Award and was placed second in the Philly Ad Club’s “Philly’s Future” Scholarship.
She expanded her skill set by working internships with the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, Vault Communications and Campbell Soup Company. While in college, Elise devoted much of her time to La Salle’s Lasallian Immersion and Volunteer Experience (LIVE) program – participating in immersion trips to Birmingham, AL and Atlanta with Habitat for Humanity, as well as a Christian Brothers school in Nyeri, Kenya.
Elise currently resides in the Pennsport section of Philadelphia.
Elise took a 12-day trip through Vietnam in 2018, traveling from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, and all points in between. The tour was part of a class studying the philosophy of war and its impact on young people.
The travel bug has spurred her to visit 20 countries, many as part of an educational experience. Her favorite spots include Brazil, Croatia and Ireland (her heritage is Irish on both sides).
