DAVID HUPPERT

Senior Account Executive

David Huppert joined Ceisler Media in 2019, focusing most of his efforts on assisting clients on wind energy developments and progressive policy advocacy. He also manages case-by-case responses to public inquiries on behalf of CMIA clients.

David has sharply honed skills in grassroots organizing and community engagement. He has expertise on economic policy, wind industry and health care matters.

He came to the firm after having worked in Washington, DC with 2020 Vision, a progressive economic policy advocacy group aimed at preserving important consumer protections. Before that he worked for a grassroots effort to protect the Affordable Care Act with Organizing for Action.

He is already a veteran of political campaigns. In 2018, he served as field director for Susan Wild’s successful run for Congress. In 2016, he was part of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign – first on the trail in Iowa, Colorado and Idaho, and then as regional organizing director in Chester County, PA (the only Pennsylvania County that flipped from red to blue in the past two presidential races).

A native of Lower Merion, David graduated from George Washington University, where he majored in political science and minored in economics. During his college years, he studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and also had legislative internships with the offices of Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer, both Democrats from New York.

David has played guitar since age 11, and enjoys performing classic rock, folk rock and the blues.

He has taken acting and improv classes, and tried his hand onstage at standup comedy.

He is a diehard Eagles, Sixers and Phillies fan, who spends way too much time poring over baseball statistics.
